Palazzo Radomiri

Palazzo Radomiri is an extraordinary early 18th century baroque villa converted into a small heritage boutique hotel on a very waterfront of magnificent bay of Kotor.

Located in the heart of a Natural and Culturo-Historical Region of Kotor, a UNESCO World Heritage site, building of Palazzo Radomiri was originally built by a prominent local family of ship-owners and Captains during the time when Kotor and its surroundings were part of Venice Republic (1420-1797). It was officially registered in Kotor Cadaster in 1730. The location itself was called Radomiri and was illustrated on a map by the most famous Venetian geographer and cartographer of its time — Coronelli Vincenzo Maria in 1688.

This place is included in a Statuary List of Buildings of Special Architectural and Historic Interest, listed as an Architectural Monument of Grade III. It was the first boutique hotel built in a restored building in Montenegro and has received 4 stars in 2006 from Ministry of Tourism as a Small Heritage Hotel and then later Boutique Hotel.

The original appearance and character of the buildings have been carefully restored, blending existing features with contemporary design and functionality. It is a place full of interesting history, but it mostly benefits from a magical combination of the seaside and dramatic mountains.
